Refine KC develops academic and spiritual leaders through personalized learning, service, and discipleship in a Christ-centered community. As academic and spiritual learners, we’ve all experienced moments in a group setting where we are able to learn at the same pace as those around us. But, more frequently, this is not the case. We are either ready to move forward before the rest of the group or we simply need more time to fully process and understand. Both of these scenarios cause frustration in learning. Holding back groups of learners to give one or two students more time isn’t ideal. Pushing students to keep up when they simply need more time to process ideas, learn skills and ask questions is also less than ideal.
