Japanese Friendship Garden and Museum
It is an expression of friendship between the city and its sister city, Yokohama. JFG is also known as San-Kei-En (Three Scene Garden) with its design based on the original principles of a Japanese garden while incorporating the elements of San Diego’s landscape and climate. With this in mind, JFG blends two different cultures and creates a unique experience that presents an atmosphere of elegant simplicity, quiet beauty, and interaction between humans and nature.

Based on my research, the Japanese Friendship Garden and Museum is a tranquil oasis that beautifully captures the essence of Japanese culture and tradition. With its meticulously landscaped gardens, serene koi ponds, and charming tea house, it offers a peaceful escape from the city’s bustle. The museum adds depth, showcasing Japanese art, history, and craftsmanship. Whether you're seeking inspiration or quiet reflection, this hidden gem is a must-visit for its harmony and beauty.
